OUR STORYHow we got here
1985
Charlie Russo took his children shopping for sixteen kids in a nearby shelter, delivering gifts, and never left.
1998
Christmas Magic becomes a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
2000s
The partner network grows to dozens of verified shelters, schools, churches, and social-service programs across Long Island.
2016
Charlie’s children and friends expanded Christmas Magic into NYC and across 4 boroughs.
Today
~14,000 children a year across Long Island, and ~600 children in programs across 4 boroughs
