At Christmas Magic, we believe every child deserves a little wonder. Each holiday season, we partner with more than 50 shelters, schools, churches, and social-service agencies across Long Island to identify children in need — children who may otherwise go without. Young children write letters to Santa; older children share their wish-lists. Then our legion of volunteers — the “elves” — shop, wrap and deliver personalized gifts, and throw festive holiday parties so the kids can just be kids for a while.
But we don’t stop at holiday cheer! Through the Back Pack Pirates program, we provide hundreds of homeless and at-risk children with new backpacks, school supplies, clothes, and even a fun summer-camp experience — giving them the tools and confidence to start the school year strong.
Our approach is simple: we bring hope, dignity, and kindness to children and families facing hardship. We rely entirely on private donations and volunteers, because we believe in the power of community — ordinary people coming together to share extraordinary care and generosity.
